Links fixed!

Hey all, no new shows for AEGEE yet, but I have finally taken time to fix all links to the archived shows, so they should all still work.

If anyone likes the idea of AEGEE.fm and has any idea to do something radio or multimedia related to AEGEE, feel free to contact me. Find me on Facebook ūüėČ

Radio Silence

Hello Europe!

AEGEE.fm has been silent for a very long time, will most likely stay silent for a while. However, I have two announcements!

  1. The domain name aegee.fm will end soon and for now i will not renew it (because it’s quite costly). However, The website is now visible at https://aegee.fm.hemmodevries.nl/ on my personal domain. It does include the (apparently) missing 2015 Agora Kyiv shows including the very inspiring AEGEE Inspire-session.
  2. For now, I’m not able to pick up the radio shows anytime soon. What I however will promise, is (at least) one more show. It will be a ‘best off’ show, with the best of all the older shows combined, but also including some never heard before items, like our own cooking bit!

So… stay tuned!

Next show: 4th of April

AEGEE.fm has been offline for quite a while now, but will rise back to (hopefully) a new height!

We will be back on Monday, the 4th of April at 20.00 (CET) the fourth with several topics
– Summer University Applications are open and SUCT will be on the phone to tell you all about it
– Furthermore, we will be in touch with one of the organizers from a very interesting summer university about their SU and why you should sign up for it
– On the 6th of April, the Netherlands will be holding a referendum on an association agreement with Ukraine. Members of AEGEE-Delft started an independent campaign to inform people why they should vote and what they should take in to account. You’ll hear all about it from one of the organizers.
– Do you like strange food? Off course you do! We will start a co...

AEGEE.fm off air

Unfortunately AEGEE.fm has been off the air for a while now. Because of Hemmo having a full time job, he doesn’t have as much time to spend on the radio as he did before. However, we are still working on reporting about everything AEGEE. We are currently working on a monthly show. Stay tuned!

Wanted: Music Embassadors

We are looking for Music Embassadors in all the countries AEGEE is located in, to keep us up to date on how music develops in their country. Later on we will develop a new weekly themed hour, “Embassy of Music”, with music from all over Europe, accompanied by the music ambassador and a short general chart of music in Europe.

For more information on and application, check our Embassy of Music page.

AEGEE.fm’s web server crashed

Oy… The server we rented hosting the AEGEE.fm website and live stream crashed due to a broken hard disk. While a copy of most of the website was safely stored elsewhere, recently changed parts of the website went missing because of this and a few other things broke. We are working to get everything back up again, but meanwhile things might be missing or working incorrectly.

For the nerdy few who used direct links to for example our stream; the server name has changed to kyiv.atomichosting.nl, port name remaining 8600.

Fun fact: The servers of our webhost are named Ky√Įv, Aachen and Zaragoza (but not located in those cities).

AEGEE.fm moves to Monday!

After a long and hot summer, AEGEE.fm is ready to rock during the second season of AEGEE.fm! During the 2015-2016 season, 36 brand new shows are currently being prepared with the first starting on Monday, 31st of August.

You saw that right, AEGEE.fm listened to it’s listeners, and decided to move the weekly show from Friday to Monday. Time of broadcast will remain 20.00 CET/CEST (GMT+2 during summer, GMT+1 during winter).

Double Length Season Premiere

The first show, on 31st of August, will last two hours, to catch up with the AEGEE members, Summer Universities but and the brand new Comité Directeur. We are planning something really exciting, but have to wait a little longer to announce this. More on this show will be announced later on our Facebook page.

AEGEE.fm on Summer Break

As you might have noticed there were no AEGEE.fm shows the past few weeks. Mostly because of me being busy with other projects that required attention, and partially because recently there was less to report on. During the summer the lack of news will obviously continue (the Dutch call it ‚ÄúCucumber time‚ÄĚ).

Therefore AEGEE.fm takes a Summer Break. This allows me to take all summer to prepare new interviews and reports. I will be going on SU to Ukraine, where I hope to be able to make some reports on local culture (and visiting Chernobyl!) and well, what’s going on. I will also continue to look for ways to expand the AEGEE.fm team.

The first show of AEGEE.fm back in February started out only as a test, but was a very big succes, which kind of demanded it to continue...
